Power and Air for a Mobile Tyre Van
A mobile tyre van needs reliable air and clean power, and the two are linked. Most of your kit runs from the van's 12v battery through an inverter, which converts 12v DC to 230v AC for your tools and lighting. Sizing the inverter and leisure battery correctly is the difference between a van that runs all day and one that runs flat by lunchtime, which is why we wire and test every electrical fit-out ourselves. For air, you can run a 12v compressor off the same system, or fit a petrol-driven compressor that runs independently for higher output.
