Pricing and Packages

How much does a mobile tyre fitting van cost?

It depends on the van, the kit and the livery you choose. New, fully equipped builds typically start in the [CONFIRM: £xx,xxx] region plus VAT. Used vans can be considerably less. Use the configurator or call 01302 203 888 for an indicative quote.

What's included in the standard package?

Every build includes, as a baseline, a C112 tyre changer and C100 wheel balancer, a 5kW inverter, compressor and airline, LED lighting, a 300Ah leisure battery, ply lining and non-slip flooring, and full installation. You can upgrade the kit and add extras from there.

Are prices shown with or without VAT?

All our prices are shown plus VAT, in line with how the trade buys. The figure you see is the price before VAT is added.

Do I have to take the full package, or can I buy van-only?

[CONFIRM: is van-only offered? Recommended: training is always included, but a van without certain extras is fine. Answer to be finalised once the Training page position is confirmed.]

What are the kit tiers and what's the difference?

Every van includes our standard Entry package. From there you can upgrade the tyre changer through Standard, Premium and Heavy-duty tiers, each stepping up to a more capable machine. The wheel balancer stays the same proven C100 across every tier. [CONFIRM: tier names if changed from Entry/Standard/Premium/Heavy-duty.]

Training

What does the 4 hours of training cover?

Safe operation of the tyre changer and wheel balancer, kit handling and storage on the road, basic maintenance, roadside safety, and an efficient mobile workflow.

Where does the training take place?

At our Doncaster facility on the day you collect your van, or at your own premises by arrangement.

Who delivers the training?

Our in-house mobile tyre van specialists, the same team who built your van.

Is training included with every van?

Yes. Four hours of professional training is included with every van we build, at no extra cost. [CONFIRM: confirm this is universal.]

Can the training happen at my premises?

Yes, by arrangement. Additional costs may apply depending on location. Call 01302 203 888 for a quote.

Can I bring a partner or colleague to training?

[CONFIRM: yes or no, and whether a second person costs extra.]

Is there extended aftercare or refresher training?

[CONFIRM: describe Extended Aftercare if offered, or remove this question.]

Equipment

What equipment is included as standard?

A tyre changer, wheel balancer, air compressor, inverter, jacks, lighting and storage, at minimum. Higher tiers and extras add more.

Can I upgrade the kit?

Yes. You can upgrade the tyre changer through our tiers and add a wide range of extras, from diagnostics and TPMS tools to additional storage, lighting and hand tools.

What brands do you supply?

Concept GE branded C-series kit as standard, plus Eurotek, Hofmann and Thinkcar for heavier-duty or specialist needs. [CONFIRM: any additional launch brands.]

Can I buy equipment without buying a van?

Yes. We supply kit on its own for existing vans, fleet upgrades or workshops.

How does 12v operation work?

Most mobile kit runs from the van's 12v battery through an inverter, which we wire and test in-house. Petrol-driven compressors run independently.

Can I bring my own van for an equipment fit-out?

Yes. Bring us your van and we'll fit, wire and test a full mobile package or just the items you need.

What if I need a piece of kit you don't list?

Ask us. We can often source items that aren't on the site, or advise on a suitable alternative. Call 01302 203 888.

Finance

Is finance available?

Yes. We work with FCA-authorised asset finance partners, and indicative weekly figures are available before you commit. Subject to status.

What finance products do you offer?

[CONFIRM: Hire Purchase, Lease Purchase and Business Contract Hire, subject to the products you confirm offering.]

What does "subject to status" mean?

It means any finance offer depends on the lender's assessment of your circumstances. Indicative figures are a guide, not a guaranteed offer.

Can sole traders apply?

Yes. We work with sole traders, limited companies, partnerships and LLPs.

Can start-ups apply?

[CONFIRM: yes, with a strong business case, if confirmed.]

How long does a finance decision take?

Typically a decision in principle within [CONFIRM: 24 to 48] hours, depending on the lender and your circumstances.

Do you charge a fee for arranging finance?

[CONFIRM: fee position, supplied by the finance partner for FCA compliance.]

What deposit do I need?

It varies by product and circumstances. Some agreements need little or no deposit, others benefit from one. We'll talk you through the options.

Delivery and Lead Times

How long does it take to build a van?

Typical lead times are [CONFIRM: x to y] weeks from order for a new build, depending on van availability and your spec. We'll confirm timings before you commit.

Can I collect from Doncaster?

Yes. Most customers collect from our Doncaster facility, which is also where your training takes place.

Do you deliver UK-wide?

Yes, we can arrange UK-wide delivery. [CONFIRM: any delivery charge or distance limit.]

Is there a delivery charge?

[CONFIRM: delivery charge policy.]

What documents do I receive on collection?

[CONFIRM: list, e.g. V5 details, warranty documents, equipment manuals, service records for used vans, training completion note.]

Warranty and Aftercare

What warranty is included on the van?

[CONFIRM: vehicle warranty position for new and used vans.]

What warranty is included on the equipment?

Concept GE branded equipment carries a 2 year parts and labour warranty, backed by our national service team. Third-party brands carry their own manufacturer warranty.

Who do I call if something goes wrong?

Call 01302 203 888. As part of the Concept GE group, we have a national service team to support you.

Do you service the equipment?

Yes. We offer servicing and aftercare for the kit we supply. Call to arrange.

Are spare parts available?

Yes, through the Concept GE parts and service operation.

Used Vans

Do you sell used mobile tyre fitting vans?

Yes. Used stock changes regularly. Browse Vans for Sale or call to be notified when matching stock arrives.

How are used vans prepared before sale?

Every used van is serviced, professionally cleaned, and checked over before sale, ready for you to hit the road.

Do used vans include training?

[CONFIRM: confirm 4 hours of training is included with used vans too. Recommended yes, for consistency.]

Can I be notified when matching used stock arrives?

Yes. Call us or send an enquiry with your requirements and we'll be in touch when something fitting comes in.

Demo and Visits

Can I see a demonstrator van before I buy?

Yes. View our fully equipped demonstrator van at our Doncaster facility, or we can bring it to you by arrangement.

Can the demonstrator van come to my premises?

Yes, by arrangement. Call 01302 203 888 to organise it.

Can I visit your Doncaster workshop?

Yes, by appointment, so we can give you our full attention and show you vans in build.

Do I need an appointment?

For workshop visits and demos, yes, an appointment means we can have the right person and the right van ready for you.

Buying a Business vs Building a Van

I'm thinking about buying an existing mobile tyre business. Is that better than building a new van?

It depends on what you're buying. An existing business may come with customers, but also with an ageing van, tired kit, and someone else's reputation. Building a brand-new, fully equipped van gives you reliable equipment, a warranty, training, and a clean start under your own name. We're happy to talk through both, with no obligation.

What about franchises?

We're not a franchise. We sell you a van and kit that are yours outright, with no ongoing fees, no territory restrictions, and no royalties. You run your business your way.

Do I need a limited company to start?

No. Many of our customers trade as sole traders. A limited company has its own advantages, but it isn't required to operate a mobile tyre van. [CONFIRM: keep this general, not formal business advice.]

Do I need insurance? Can you help me arrange it?

You'll need appropriate insurance to operate, typically including public liability and the right motor cover. We're not an insurance broker, but we can point you in the right direction. [CONFIRM: signpost a specific broker/partner, or keep generic?]
